Unauthorized use of this site and/or the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws or other laws.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The contents of this site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement.

The owner of this site, the authors of these contents and in general anybody connected to this site in any way, from now on collectively called "Providers", assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in these contents.

3. We will use our reasonable endeavour’s to maintain the Website. The Website is subject to change from time to time. You will not be eligible for any compensation because you cannot use any part of the Website or because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Website due to circumstances beyond our control.

 

Product availability

 

Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock in store, orders will be dispatched the same day provided payment is validated/received before 1200 hours. Monday-Thursday. High value items such as electronics and optics will not be dispatched over weekends or public holidays due to the risk of theft. Should you for any reason insist on delivery over a weekend or a public holiday, Gadgets and Goodies Will not be held responsible for any loss of goods whatsoever.   

 

Should the product not be in stock please allow +/-10 working days. Every effort is made to effect delivery of your order timorously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence Gadgets and Goodies will contact you via email and provide a revised delivery schedule. This will also depend largely on the time of year and availability of stock from the manufacturer.

 

Delivery Policy

 

When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies  paid in any way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. SA. Door to door

Please ensure the correct delivery address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.

 

Undeliverable packages

 

Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for

re-delivery.

 

Order processing

 

Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.

 

Refunds/returns Policy

 

Should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for a 15% handling fee. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. Refund of 85% will be made within 7 working days of receipt of cancellation.  

 

International customers should make use of a courier that offers:

 

1. Shipment tracking.

2. Insure your package for safe return and declare the full value of the shipment failing which loss or damage will be for your account.

 

Payment Options and Pricing

 

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).

 

Gadgets and Goodies endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products; you're total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable

VAT and delivery charges.

 

Gadgets and Goodies reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.

 Options

When you Checkout you'll be asked to choose from three shipping options:

1. To door
2. To counter
3. Own collection

To door

The To door shipping option is the easiest way to get your order sent directly to your shipping address. Proof of identification is required before the order is handed over.

If you select the To door delivery option but don't live in or near to any of the hubs listed below we reserve the right to send your order to your nearest Post Office. If this does happen we'll be sure to first run it past you.

Should you have a specific shipping preference such as Saturday delivery or Overnight Express for a large order, please contact us so we can make the necessary arrangements.

To counter

The To counter shipping option is an equally as safe option. Your order will be delivered to your nearest Post Office. As with To door deliveries you will be required to show proof of identification before collecting.

Own collection

If you live in the Port Elizabeth  area and would prefer to collect your order yourself, simply select the Own collection option during Checkout. As soon as your order is ready for collection you will be notified by email where detailed directions will be given.

 

Should Gadgets and Goodies reduce it’s price on any delivered products within 10 working days of shipment, you may contact us and request a refund of the difference between the price you were charged and the reduced selling price. To receive the refund you must contact us within 7 days of delivery.

 

EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)

One of the most widely used ways of sending money online. Once you have added enough items to your shopping cart, proceed to “Checkout” and follow the order processing instructions. Select the option to pay via EFT. You will then have to load Gadgets and Goodies as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use the unique order number in the reference line for your payment. This should ensure speedy processing and delivery of your selected products.

Direct Deposit 

You may pay for your products through a direct deposit. It’s exactly the same as doing an EFT payment, except you’ll have to go into your bank and physically make your direct deposit there. Please fax through your deposit slip to us on ()to ensure your payment is confirmed and order shipped as quickly as possible.

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Gadgets and Goodies for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
